What is Norton Safe Web?
Everyone knows that the Internet is huge, which includes many online threats such as viruses, phishing, and spyware leading to numerous dangerous websites out there. These websites try to deceive you, steal your credit card numbers or passwords, or even crash your computer. By the time you visit a website, it may be too late to undo the damage that has already occurred. So how can you know that a website is a safety risk before you even visit it?

Norton Safe Web is a new reputation service from NortonLifeLock. Our servers help analyze websites to ascertain how they will affect your computer. Then, using the Norton Safe Web browser extension, we tell you how safe a particular website might be before you visit it.
How to get involved?
Create an account
Signing up for an account is easy—all you must do is pick a username and password and enter your email address. We will not share your email address with anyone, and we send only minimal emails. Sign up for Norton Safe Web Account to get started! If you are an existing Norton user and have a valid Norton account, it will work here as well, so you don't have to create another account!
Write a review of a website
Share your stories and experiences, good or bad, on any website that you feel strongly about! Help others avoid the same pitfalls you have encountered on some sites. Also, let us know the sites that are safe and secured.
How to raise dispute for wrongly categorized site?
If you feel that your website has been wrongly categorized, you can easily raise a dispute by using the "Click here to submit dispute" link to re-evaluate the site category. Also, existing Norton Safeweb account users, can raise a dispute for their ownership-verified sites by using "Re-evaluate my site" link in the "site management" tab of your profile page.
We will re-evaluate your request and send you an email notification, once the dispute is resolved on our end. You can revisit the Norton Safe Web "report" page to view the updated rating/category for your website.
